Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates! And if you don’t, I hope you’re enjoying a wonderful day with your family, since almost everything is closed and you’re stuck with them anyway. ![]()
My greeting is a bit late because our entire family was up all night helping my wife @Suzy and my youngest daughter @Sophia_Onysko prepare for an incredible journey to Antarctica until they left at 12:30 PM (not a typo)! The rest of the family finally crashed around 1 PM, and I just woke up. What we hope will be a once-in-a-lifetime adventure for them turned into a full family production getting them ready to go.
This has been a life-changing year serving on Village Council. The first few months felt like drinking from a fire hose. Who would have guessed our small village would have so many different facets to keep track of? Most of them, thankfully, are incredibly boring. Exactly as local government should be.
Over the next few days, you’ll see some new posts and additions to the forum. One of them will be about me personally (no drama, I assure you). Stay tuned.
Wishing you and your families a wonderful holiday season.
Cheers,
John
