I’ve lived here for over a year now and still have this questions lingering:
Is Gates Mills Blvd really a one-lane boulevard? I know there are tiny signs stating that it is, but I get passed nearly every time I drive on it - especially at the eastern end where the lane is very wide.
Is it two lanes past Chartley? Or one lane all the way?
Yes. GMB is a One Lane Road and should be driven as such. We have discussed some additional striping to make it a bit more clear, or mark a bike/pedestrian lane (see council minutes from late 2024/early 2025) but ultimately Council decided to leave the road in its current condition.
