Duplicate digest emails sent
Issue
When sending out the Christmas digest, our email provider (Mailgun) began rate limiting mid-send without clear feedback. This caused our system to retry sends, resulting in some users receiving 2-3 copies of the same digest email.
Resolution
Upgraded our Mailgun plan and working with their support to ensure proper rate limit communication. Adjusted our sending process to better handle provider limits.
Impact
Some forum users received duplicate digest emails on Christmas evening. Everyone received the digest - no emails were lost.
